It was during his work in a private pain management practice in the towns of Smithtown and Shirley that Dr. Kechejian focused on providing safe, minimally-invasive outpatient techniques for treatment of chronic pain conditions, including neck and back pain, while at the same time, trying to minimize opioid therapy. Kechejian pursued his passion for pain management at Syosset Hospital where he perfected his interventional pain management skills. Kechejian was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital. He served as the Director of Pain Management for the Anesthesia Residency Program at Nassau University Medical Center, where he thrived on teaching physicians in training different anesthesia blocks for surgery and pain procedures for chronic pain sufferers, such as epidural steroid and spine joint injections. Kechejian has been caring for patients across Long Island for the past 25 years. He graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
